5 Cameras… 50,000 Exposures… One Long Night (The Biggest Time-lapse I’ve Ever Done)

Diabetes2025 Union Station Drawing – http://www.altfutures.org/diabetes2025 from Richard Harrington on Vimeo.

A time lapse video of Denver artist Mark Cline drawing a giant 3D mural in Union Station, Washington DC. The mural depicts the cost of diabetes to 10 “Diabetes Hot Spots” around the United States by 2025 if current trends continue. The map is sponsored by Novo Nordisk, which released the results of a study by the Institute for Alternative Futures that provides a forecast of the projected cost of diabetes for each of the 50 states. For details about the study, go to http://www.altfutures.org/diabetes2025

Here’s a recent project I finished with my company RHED Pixel The project was done for Novo Nordisk under the supervision of Biosector2.

  1. Nice work! Glad to see that Nikons outnumbered the Cannons. (sarcastic) I would love to see the breakdown of the timeline of the angles and the final integration in Photoshop.

We use both. Just a matter for us of using right camera to right lens. Do like how most Nikons have built in intervolumeters though. We’ll start a series breaking down shots. Just cite the time in counter of ones you’re most curious about.

BTW no Photshop was used. All Bridge and After Effects.

  2. wow great work!
